The Formatt Hitech 105mm Soft Gold 1 HD Enhancing Filter uses gold platelets suspended within the glass to soften the image and add warmth, correcting the slightly bluish, overly sharp look common on modern HD cameras.
- Effect: Internal reflection off the gold platelets refracts light back through the glass, producing a gentle soft-focus effect and warm skin tones without a noticeable loss of contrast.
- Density: Grade 1, the lightest in the Soft Gold range, for the most subtle version of the effect.
- Construction: Schott-Desag B270 crown optical glass, ground and polished to consistent, flat tolerances.
- Format: 105mm screw-in circular glass filter.
