Hitech Formatt 105mm Super Soft HD Gold 1 Glass Filter | BF 105-1-SSGDEF
The Hitech Formatt 105mm Super Soft HD Gold 1 Glass Filter combines two of Formatt’s proven diffusion techniques ? the HD Soft filter and the Soft Gold enhancer ? into one stronger softening and warming effect.
- Effect: Produces a more pronounced softening than a standard Soft Gold filter of the same density, while keeping the same warm tone and controlled, refraction-based diffusion.
- Density: Grade 1, the lightest of the Super Soft Gold range.
- Construction: Schott-Desag B270 crown optical glass, precision ground and polished.
- Format: 105mm screw-in circular glass filter.
- Note: Because of its internal laminated structure, Formatt recommends a minimum focal length of around 28mm ? very short, wide-angle lenses aren’t ideal with this filter type.
A stronger option for cinematographers and photographers who want more visible softening and warmth than the standard Soft Gold line provides.
