Tiffen 86mm 85B Linear Polarizer Filter (Non-Rotating)

The Tiffen 86mm 85B Linear Polarizing Filter combines two tools in one piece of glass: an 85B color-conversion filter and a linear polarizer. The 85B layer provides a warming effect and lowers color temperature from 5500K to 3200K, allowing tungsten-balanced film to be used in daylight. The linear-polarizer layer cuts reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces, deepens blue skies, boosts the saturation of foliage, and helps clear atmospheric haze.

This is a non-rotating (fixed) design, which is intended for use with a matte box, lens hood, or rotating adapter that provides control over the polarizing angle. A linear polarizer is best suited to manual-focus cine and view cameras. Tiffen builds the filter with ColorCore glass for uniform, high-quality results.
