The Tiffen 86mm Plum 3 Solid Color Filter offers the strongest plum coloration in the range, casting a rich, warm purple tone evenly across the frame. Built for motion picture and video work, it is a powerful choice when you want a bold, stylized palette straight out of the camera, and it also helps subdue overly yellowish casts. As the deepest “3” density, it delivers the most pronounced effect of the plum options.

The filter uses Tiffen’s ColorCore process, sealing the color layer between two sheets of optical glass ground flat to within one ten-thousandth of an inch so the tone stays even from edge to edge.
