It spreads a warm brownish-yellow coloration evenly across the frame, adding an antique, nostalgic flavor that many shooters compare to the look of early photographic prints. At the mid-strength “2” density, the tobacco tone reads clearly on screen while still keeping the scene natural, and it also helps subdue overly bluish casts.

The filter is built using Tiffen’s ColorCore process, laminating the color between two pieces of optical glass ground flat to a tolerance of one ten-thousandth of an inch for consistent density across the image.
