The Tiffen 86mm Cranberry 1 Solid Color Filter introduces a bright, purplish-red coloration across the whole frame, giving images a distinctive stylized tone while helping to subdue overly greenish casts. Made mainly for motion picture and video work, it is a creative way to shape a scene’s palette in-camera. As the lighter “1” density, it applies the cranberry tint gently, so it is easy to combine with other filters for further fine-tuning.

Tiffen produces the filter with its ColorCore technology, sealing the color layer between two sheets of optical glass ground flat to within one ten-thousandth of an inch, which keeps the coloration even and repeatable.
