This EMW omnidirectional lavalier microphone is a compact, discreet clip-on mic designed to pair with Shure wireless bodypack transmitters through its Switchcraft TA4F connector. Its omnidirectional pickup pattern captures speech evenly from all directions for consistent, natural-sounding dialogue, making it a dependable choice for interviews, presentations, broadcast, theater, and video production.

This version features a shelved frequency response, which applies a smooth high-frequency lift tuned for microphones worn on the outside of clothing such as lapels and jackets. The EMW capsule is known for being highly resistant to moisture and for producing very low rubbing and handling noise.
