The Tiffen 81D 5 x 5 Inch Light Balancing Filter is a warming filter used to correct the bluish color cast that appears under overcast skies, in shade, or with certain fluorescent and daylight-balanced lighting. As one of the stronger grades in the 81 series, the 81D adds more noticeable warmth than the lighter 81 and 81A/81B/81C filters, making it suited to scenes with a heavier blue cast that need a bigger color correction. Built at 5 x 5 inches, it fits matte box filter trays used in film and video production.
